Port Hueneme , city and seaport terminal, Ventura county, southwestern California, U.S. Lying about 60 miles (100 km) northwest of Los Angeles and 40 miles (65 km) south of Santa Barbara, it is the only commercial deepwater port between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
